“Although there are no specific cures for tinnitus, anything that brings the person out of the “fight or flight” stress response helps symptoms recede over a period of time. Calming body-based therapies, counseling and psychotherapy help restore well-being, which in turn allows tinnitus to settle.”

There is no cure as of yet.

See an ear, nose and throat doc. ENT for speciality help. Chances you have damager you ear drum in some way or you system has become a littlle off balance.

They can address the symptoms, maybe find the cause and usually treat it with meds. You might even need a tube put in you ear, which is not visible and you do not feel it to allow your ear to drain and heal.

This can be hard to deal with but there are solutions. ?Stop worrying and got to an ENT and get some relief and answers

    Good luck jackie

I have had tinitus for more than 20 years and there is no cure. You need to get your ears and hearing evaluated by a board certified ENT to rule out an organic cause. If you are really suffering from tinitus you are going to have to find a way to deal with it. It isn’t always easy to learn to live with tinitus but it is possible. Good luck to you.

I feel your pain, trust me. Had it for about two years now, and it is sooo distracting. I have found nothing that helps it, but background noise. I now have to have a fan running at night, or I can’t sleep due to the high pitched ringing that never ever stops!! It doesn’t bother me so much during the day, as there is enough noise and activity, but in quiet times it tends to drive one nuts. I have music on whenever possible, or the tv, even if just the weather channel, my truck has loudish dual exhaust and a radio, my pc has Pandora running, and I work in a loud shop. But sleeping takes a fan, and a beer or three helps…….
